In the end of January, our team at Experience Workshop had a playful meeting with children from Pilke Playschool using the Poly-Universe toolkit. This session provided a real-time practice within our ongoing ERASMUS+ EARLY-POLY project.

In the session we observed children exploring the toolkit through free play, discovering its possibilities, building spontaneous structures, and engaging with its colorful, geometric forms.

Following this exploration, we started guiding the play towards collaborative activities. Together, we created shapes and pathways, and let children find and match similar patterns with their classmates. The toolkit’s potential fosters not only individual creativity but also social interaction and shared problem-solving. The collected data will be used in the development of the EARLY-POLY Methodological Study book.
